EXTERNAL RELATIONS ASSISTANT
FULL TIME, PERMANENT
The role of External Relations Assistant sits within the External Relations Department, a collaborative structure encompassing Admissions, PR, Marketing and Communications. The successful candidate will primarily support the Admissions and PR & Marketing functions. The post also includes administrative duties, supporting the Director of Development and External Relations, as well as the wider team, as and when required.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment and will be used to balancing competing demands and delivering results under pressure. The postholder must demonstrate outstanding interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, an eye for detail and a ‘growth mindset’ to be successful in this role.

PR & MARKETING MANAGER

The PR and Marketing Manager will actively uphold the ethos and values of St Leonards School, managing, protecting and projecting the School’s reputation both locally and further afield.
With overall responsibility to deliver the agreed PR and Marketing plan, the PR and Marketing Manager will work towards strategic targets and direction as agreed with the Head of External Relations. This is done by providing key stakeholders, and the broader community, with effective communication, branding and information-sharing concerning St Leonards. The role will involve promoting and raising the profile of the School in target market segments, both locally and internationally, protecting and helping to manage our reputation.
The role sits within the External Relations Department, a collaborative structure encompassing Admissions and PR/Marketing and Communications.

DEVELOPMENT AND ALUMNI MANAGER

The Development and Alumni Manager will actively uphold the ethos and values of St Leonards School, managing, protecting and projecting the School’s reputation both locally and further afield.
With overall responsibility for formulating and implementing an effective alumni relations and fundraising and friend-raising plan for St Leonards, the Development and Alumni Manager will work towards measurable strategic and financial targets. The postholder will lead an effective and efficient programme of fundraising, increasing the donor base and developing new revenue streams to maximise non-fee income. The successful candidate will also work closely with the Head and the leadership team to nurture relationships with former pupils and friends of the school and must demonstrate outstanding interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, with a growth
mindset and a can-do attitude.
As the School approaches its 150th anniversary in 2027, St Leonards is at an exciting stage of its development. This momentous occasion shall be marked with a series of special events and celebrations involving the School’s global network of stakeholders. There is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to both create, steer and
contribute to this major project.

PA TO THE DIRECTOR OF Finance and OperationS

This is an exciting, varied role with the chance to work in the heart of the school and to make a significant impact. It offers the opportunity to support the Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) across a range of diverse projects, operationally and strategically, as well as providing secretarial and administrative support to the Board of Governors.
The support staff at St Leonards are the backbone of the school and every staff member is dedicated to supporting the school to thrive. The PA role is a core support staff role and it offers the opportunity to join a positive team who are all deeply passionate and committed to the school. We are excited to see how the successful applicant for this role will bring forward their ideas and energy to support the Department.
To succeed in this role the role holder will need strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling them to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. There is a requirement to operate in a fast-paced environment where time management is key. Enthusiasm, confidence, a can-do attitude and self motivation are essential.
